CAREC program releases Road Crash Data Review and Reporting Publications
The Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program (CAREC) has released reports outlining the Road Crash Data Review and Reporting status for a series of countries in Central and West Asia, including a range of member countries of the Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory (APRSO).
The reports present an overview of the current road crash data management situation in each country, offering strategic recommendations for improvement based on globally recognized practices. The reports develop guidance and tools in an effort to improve road crash data management and move towards greater harmonization of crash data across the Central and West Asia region.
The reports cover the following countries:
• Uzbekistan
• Tajikistan
• Pakistan
• Mongolia
• Kyrgyz Republic
• Kazakhstan
• Georgia
• Azerbaijan
Find the reports, which are available in English and Russian (for select countries), through the APRSO Knowledge and Innovation Hub.
You can also find the CAREC road safety manuals through the Knowledge and Innovation Hub, which outline evidence-based approaches to a range of road safety engineering activities, including road safety audits, pedestrian safety and speed management.
