The World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean has launched a new Regional Road Safety Monitoring and Progress Tracker, an interactive platform designed to help countries monitor progress towards the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021–2030. The tool consolidates key road safety indicators in a single platform, supporting evidence-based decision-making and helping countries identify priorities for action.

The tracker was developed through collaboration between WHO, road safety counterparts from all 22 countries of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, and international partners including the Asian-Pacific Road Safety Observatory (APRSO), African Road Safety Observatory, UNECE, UNDP, and SSATP-World Bank.  

APRSO was pleased to support and contribute to the initiative, which involved Pakistan, one of APRSO's member countries. The tracker is publicly available and offers a practical resource for countries seeking to strengthen road safety monitoring and performance tracking. Access the tracker and the user guide.
