This meeting will discuss and seek agreement from APRSO member countries on proposed governance arrangements for APRSO, other policy issues and the forward work program.

Objectives of the meeting:

• Agree on governance arrangements for APRSO and elect the inaugural member-based Steering Committee
• Convene the APRSO National Data Coordinators for the first time to agree a plan and approach to populating the APRSO road safety database and collating other relevant country level data
• Release the APRSO Annual Report and update members on recent APRSO activities
• Discuss cooperation agreements for addressing under reporting of FSI and implementing and evaluating road safety action plans with sub-regional groups (ASEAN, GMS, SASEC, CAREC, APEC, etc) and Members.

There will also be presentations on critical road safety topics of concern to the APRSO member community.
