Event Details 

On 11-13 October 2022, the Global Regional Road Safety Observatories (GRRSO) GRRSO Dialogue on Powered Two-Wheeler Safety (11-12 October) and Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory (APRSO) Annual Meeting (13 October) will be held in a hybrid manner in ADB Headquarters, Manila, Philippines.  

 

With the theme, "2030 horizon for road safety: securing a decade of action and delivery," the High-level Meeting on Improving Global Road Safety (HLM) was held at the UN headquarters in New York, United States, last 30 June and 1 July 2022, organized under the President of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly.

 

In support of the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021 – 2030, the International Road Assessment Program (iRAP) has launched the new and improved Road Safety Toolkit.

 

The Asia-Pacific Road Safety Observatory’s annual meeting for 2021 was held on 9 to 11 November and featured two days of presentations on road safety data management from the viewpoints of member countries and founding development organizations, and a final day devoted to establishing APRSO’s new governance structure.

 

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) and International Road Assessment Programme (iRAP) are proud to announce the signing of a 5-year agreement to promote programmes and projects for safe and sustainable transport in Asia and the Pacific.
